Week 4 College Football

I want to look at the Top 25 poll. The newcomers are Nevada and NC State. They need a higher ranking, and UCLA needs a ranking. The top 3 remained the same, while Oregon jumped a spot to move to number 4. Stanford impressed some voters with a win over Notre Dame and jumped 7 spots to number 9. Stanford plays Oregon this week in the primetime spotlight, so we'll see a lot more about these teams on Saturday. Auburn also jumped 7 spots to number 10 after winning a hard-fought SEC victory over South Carolina. Michigan jumped one spot to No. 19, South Carolina dropped to No. 20, and Texas fell to No. 21 after being upset at home by UCLA. The loss was one of the worst in the Mack Brown era at Texas. Penn State settled at No. 22 after pulling out a close one with the ever-dangerous Temple Owls. NC State came in at 23 after several big wins, including Cincinnati and Georgia Tech. Michigan State rests at 24 after starting a strong 4-0 in a loaded Big Ten. Nevada is the true newbie to the polls at No. 25. I don't think there has ever been 2 WAC teams in the Top 25 poll at the same time. I will try some predictions later this week, as it seems to be a huge week for monster games.
